My Story

Hi! My name is Jacob! At the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I decided to take my passion for unique antiquarian books and turn my passion into a career. Four years later, White Owl Books has grown into a full-time business, with a new office in Pocatello that is now open!

While most of my business is still done online or via direct sales to clients, I am trying to grow my social media presence and expand to more areas where book lovers can be found!

I try to offer competitive prices, but I encourage buyers to research before purchasing to find the best quality book for their budget. All of the books offered here are authentic vintage and antiquarian books, not modern reprints (except the Modern Fine Bindings & Firsts department). If you have questions about the publication info or history of a book, I would be happy to answer to the best of my ability!

I take packaging very seriously and make sure all of my books are well-packed, with plenty of cushioning! Collation and additional photos are available upon request. If you are searching for a specific book or have questions about any of the books that are offered, please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know!

I currently operate in Pocatello, Idaho, though I am currently looking to add retail partners in the Idaho Falls, Jackson, Boise, and Salt Lake City areas.
